Write up instructions - go through and edit for CS2.
Adding Fireworks (easy) - start w/pic of buildings at night and 2nd pic of fireworks.
Put buildings on different layers and sandwich fireworks between and on top of buildings (building, fireworks, building, fireworks)
Magic wand samples color of pixel you click on and reaches out and grabs others. Tolerance tells how close the other pixels have to be to get selected.
Blending Images
Numbered instructions make it easier for students to follow.
Let students bring own pictures.
Diff. pics. Turn first pic to grayscale before add sepia. Quick mask to reveal or cover up - use paint brush & when paint it reveals more behind first pic (others go below it).
Reflections: (looks like similar to one on Entheos - more steps maybe less confusing.)
Edit transform - flip vertical then change opacity.
Motion Blur: can subtract from selection - hold alt key and select what don't want; add by using shift key and selecting. Remember to use "move" tool not "selection" tool to move things from one pic to another. Copied picture for blur and used copy to put motion blur on then used eraser to make look realistic.
Chrome type: uses layer styles. To delete effect you can click on it below the layer it is on and drag it to the trash can. To make gradient - gradient editor - when click on marks below bar you can change color to create your own gradient. Can name and save to use in another document.
Video Chat w/2nd Period 10:30 a.m.: lots of questions! All about Black History PowerPoint only one about what I'm doing.
